I love to travel! You probably know by now. But one thing I don´t like is to stand out as a tourist, in looks or in language. That is one of the reasons I love to learn foreign languages and also reason for a very detailed packing:) As you see above I usually take basics (Jacket, Bag) in plain colors and match them with neon brights and filigrane jewellery. That way I have lots of options and little to pack:)

The art of packing:)

Now that I am back I unpacked all my bags and- no surprise- they were messy;) I don´t know why, but at least for me that´s how it goes. I pack my suitcase and it is all clean and tidy and it looks nice, but when I come back everything is just thrown in and messed up. I guess it kinda displays how I feel about travelling. I just love to go away and visit different places, but I usually do not want to go back as early as I have to. I like the feeling of coming home, but it just often feels like it is too early, as if there are still so many things to be seen. So here is a picture of my suitcase before I left to the U.S. this summer, but I won´t let you see what it looked like coming back, or what my bedroom now looks like for that matter;)

Last couple weeks have been crazy and I hope to fill you in to all that happened in the next couple days! It were definitly some of the best days I have had. I hope you guys had a great summer, as well. Last preparations

                                                   Swim suit: Hunkemöller

I already mentioned that I will do some travelling soon and actually the date is coming closer. I will leave this Thursday, but where is still to be revealed;) As for now I am packing up things, finishing some college papers, and doing some final shopping. For today that meant: swim suit! I know that most of you will wonder why I decided to go for such a classical piece instead of something fancy, but it is very easy to explain: this swim suit is amazing! The color is very today, the cut is classic and therefore really body-loving;), and you can pair it with tons of jewellery and/or fun colored nails without looking trashy. So, yeah basically I love this swim suit and I am so happy I found it. That was really easy, too. Hunkemöller was the first shop I went to, this was the first suit I saw, one of the first I tried and the one I eventually bought for a steal-price of 20€! So, all I can say is that I am really pleased with today´s shopping trip and completely happy and that I can´t wait to hit the pool in this cute new swim wear!

Impressions of my day

So yesterday my sister celebrated her birthday. It was a really cute garden party for her and her friends and it was decorated with the cutest flowers and sugar sprinkles:) Later on I went out with some friends to enjoy a festival with some roller coasters, great food and drinks! A very enjoyable weekend so far. Tomorrow holds fireworks in store and I hope to catch some snaps of that to share with you guys. Also, there will be an outfit post which I am really excited about! Keeps me going...

Loving these pics! Aww, they remind me how great summer can and will be. I am crazily busy right now and also the weather is not as good as you would hope for, but I am optimistic that as soon as I will go on break everything will be great! I know I have not been posting as much as I would like lately and also I have not posted a lot of resently taken photographs, but I hope you understand that with work and college classes I just haven´t been able to do a shoot lately! Summer approaching

I already told you that I hope to get a little tan so I can wear light colors and look good in my swim wear. Well, that is what I tried this weekend, without much success, but with a lot of fun with my friends. I got this card above from a really good friend of mine a while ago stating our goals for the summer: have fun, get tanned,... Alright, I may not have gotten as tanned as the girl on the cover (yet), but I am doing well on the fun part. This actually leads me to an apology: I haven´t done an outfit post ina week, I am sorry! With the hot weather all I really wear are shorts and shirts paired with heels or flipflops, but I will try to catch up on it asap. I hope you guys are doing a better job at getting tanned and are having as much as fun as I do! Have a great start into the week! Love, Frieda
