Impressions of my day

So yummy: Pretzel with sugar pearls/ Steal of the week: Super cute sun glasses from H&M for about 5 bucks/ Reorganizing the space next to my make-up table so I can display some of my favorite girly things/ I love how my favorite jeans (almost) has my name, I found the tag in my drawer today and smiled/ New home for some of my earstuds: really cute wooden box

Oh, she knows me soo well...

As I told you guys yesterday I am not into baking and stuff much, but i am big into decorating and eating! So, basically I just loooove cupcakes! I was really happy when my mum presented me with this very sweet book the other day and honestly now I caanot wait for an occasion to bake some of these! This actually inspired me to make those amazing Oreo Pralinés I showed you yesterday!

Lipstick personality(s)

When I was younger I enjoyed reading magazines already as much as I do today, especially the ones that came with those psychology-test. Such as: where will I meet new friends? Could I take care for a pet? etc. And then one day it said: What is your lipstick personality? I was curious, but at the time only the owner of one single lipstick, so that was not really representative. Anyways I read on and it said that the shape of your lipstick was according to your personality. Well, I forgot all about this funny little test, until very recently when I cleaned my dresser and took at a look at my favorite lipsticks. I now own a lot more than one... Anyways as I looked at them I noticed that in no way they were all in the same shape. That left me to wonder: Am I a lipstick-shizophrenic?
You know, since the shape determines your character, so I have different characters, because there are different shapes? I know that sounds weird, but as I thought about it today I figured it makes sense anyways. The shapes are different, because my "character" is different with every lipstick and its use. When I feel sweet and girly I will use the light pink Manhattan lipstick (first from the left). When I am going out and feel glamourous and like a diva, you will see mme with bright red lips (2nd from the left) and then there are the others. A dark rose for everyday, a bright pink for a pop of color and a coral for the days I want to upgrade my outfit into the "very stylish" zone.
You see, not one of them is representative for my whole self, but I guess from the contents of one´s make-up bag you can really tell something about the character!

Oh, my Mary Jane shoes

Have you listened to this song above? If not, please do! For me it expresses exactly the wonderful feeling you get from wearing lovely heels. I played a concert today, wearing my pink Mary Janes and I felt gorgeous. It is a feeling you will only get on very special occasions and with very special footwear: The feeling of being invincible and stylish:) My best friend and I got this pair of heels a while back at Primark. She got them in a light nude which also looks amazing, but as I stated before I prefer pink shoes. Well, I really hope all of you have at least one pair of shoes that make you feel this way! Go out there ladys, change the world and look stunning!

In the sun

Oh, how I much I adore her! I loved her in "500 days of summer" and "New Girl" is one of my favorite shows on TV right now! But what I love most is her unconventional style of music and how natural it comes to her. So, admit it we all love Zooey Deschanel!

A little bit of consistency

Remember how I said I loved change? Well, my shoe closet will tell you a different story... over the last months it seemed like I couldn´t go shoe shopping without at least purchasing one pair of pink shoes:) Why pink? It all began when I decided to not buy my chosen pair of shoes in the mandatory brown, but in a light pink. I left the store feeling incredibly stylish and superior, just because of a new color! I don´t know what it is about pink shoes and me, but they go together quite well. It was a change at first, going away from the normality of black or brown shoes (I own enough of them as well;)), but it comes closer to consistency now.
So, I guess even I, who loves changes, falls into the normal pattern of searching for consistency. At least when it comes to the color of shoes. But as every season brings new trend colors there is probably still enough room for change...at least if I stack my shoes a little closer together:)
