Stocking up

I love love love lipstick! Well you proably know this since then. And while I probably have enough lipsticks for uhm...a while I still cannot go shopping and not get one:) These lipsticks right here are from P2 and come in a lot of cool colors. I chose a coral and brown tone to fill in the gaps in my beauticase. I also really love the names they gave them. They are all named after famous places and streets. The ones I bought are called Copa Cabana and Wall Street. Well, I hope to complete a ad with the rest;)

Well, that is a goog question! Where is he party? Definitly not at my place this weekend. Since I have been working like crazy over the last weeks to coplete all my work according to the dead lines I really could use some dancing and partying. But, unfortunately, this weekend was no better. More projects due and except meeting some friends for a study group there was not much time spent otherwise. Oh well, at least my nails were ready to party:) This nail polish has a really amazing color. It´s somewhere between purple and green, depending on the light, and it sparkles a lot.

French nails- a first

I think they turned out great for a first try:) As I said before I am trying to perfect my nail skills. This is my first attempt on french nails. Also, I love this little cute box. It is the amazing Glycerine Hand Therapy by Camille Beckman. My grandma gave it to me as a present this summer and I just love it!

This is definitly my favorite combination of nail polish colors this summer, it´s sparkly, but also adds a splash of color to just any kind of outfit (as in th 2nd pic, with just a simple striped shirt)!

Lipstick personality(s)

When I was younger I enjoyed reading magazines already as much as I do today, especially the ones that came with those psychology-test. Such as: where will I meet new friends? Could I take care for a pet? etc. And then one day it said: What is your lipstick personality? I was curious, but at the time only the owner of one single lipstick, so that was not really representative. Anyways I read on and it said that the shape of your lipstick was according to your personality. Well, I forgot all about this funny little test, until very recently when I cleaned my dresser and took at a look at my favorite lipsticks. I now own a lot more than one... Anyways as I looked at them I noticed that in no way they were all in the same shape. That left me to wonder: Am I a lipstick-shizophrenic?
You know, since the shape determines your character, so I have different characters, because there are different shapes? I know that sounds weird, but as I thought about it today I figured it makes sense anyways. The shapes are different, because my "character" is different with every lipstick and its use. When I feel sweet and girly I will use the light pink Manhattan lipstick (first from the left). When I am going out and feel glamourous and like a diva, you will see mme with bright red lips (2nd from the left) and then there are the others. A dark rose for everyday, a bright pink for a pop of color and a coral for the days I want to upgrade my outfit into the "very stylish" zone.
You see, not one of them is representative for my whole self, but I guess from the contents of one´s make-up bag you can really tell something about the character!

The procedure of a sunday night

You know what I love to do on sunday night? Snuggle up in a blanket with some chips and tea, watching NCIS and doing my nails. I love wearing a different color every week! Unfortunatly it is really expensive to get your nails done that often, so I rather do it myself. I haven´t perfected my skills yet, but I am working on it. I still think it looks ok, though. Good enough- for I just wanted you to show you this color i chose for this week. I think it is a perfect color for this week. It is sophisticated enough for long days of work and college classes, dark enough for going out at night, sparkly and trendy enough to be worn when going out with the ladys and really easy and fast-drying while putting on, so it would not take forever. In short: I love it!

Time to relax

I was presented with these bathing essences this lasst week and I cannot wait to try them in the next days! Especially the one on top seems to be very nice, as it is called Love Letter:) Hope you all find some time to relax aswell! Love, Frieda

Paris calling

Yep, I know it is cosmetics again, but I am really in love with the sweet smell of this shower gel:) And I was actually just talking to my friend about this today, you know how you sometimes need to buy all your cosmetics at once? Well, seems like this is what happened and I hope you are bearing with me on this:)

Finally in use

Oh, how much have I enjoyed finally opening the delicate wrapping of this facial soap:) So, now I hope it is going to do as many wonders to my skin as this wrapping might promise!
